godcloud HOPE What does this word mean to you? I've been asking around and this word mean many things to different people.' Hope in the future", "Hope in Christ", "Hope Floats" I like what Emily Dickinson said, " Hope is the thing with feathers, that perches in the soul, and sings the tune without words, and never stops at all."

In our Christian life we are to hope in the Lord for all the promises that He has made to us to be fulfilled. Some of these hopes will be fulfilled within our lifetime, some will be fulfilled after we leave this earth, but all the promises that God has made to His childrem will be  fulfilled. In this New Year season we often make promises to do better, lose weight, work less or more,  whatever. Most of the time these promises are simply hopes that we allow to die when we neglect them but God does not know how to neglect his children. When He makes a promise to us He will fulfill it. We just need to hope in God, and remember that he will do what is best for us. Let's sing that " tune without the words" a little louder, Sis.
